AI Subtitles empower you to automatically generate high-quality subtitles for your pre-recorded and ended shows with unparalleled ease and speed. This feature leverages advanced artificial intelligence to convert spoken content into text, making your videos more accessible, engaging, and discoverable for a global audience.

 

What is AI Subtitles


AI Subtitles use cutting-edge speech-to-text technology to transcribe the audio from your video content and automatically create synchronized subtitles. This eliminates the need for manual transcription, significantly reducing the time and effort typically required to add captions to your shows.

 

Important Information

  • Available for: This feature is currently available for pre-recorded and ended shows within your Live product.
  • Processing Time: Generating subtitles is incredibly fast. It takes approximately 3 minutes per hour of media duration. All selected languages will process in parallel, meaning if you choose multiple languages, they will all be generated simultaneously.
  • Language Support: We support over 40+ languages. 
  • Credits Required: AI Subtitles utilize a credit-based system. If you do not already have credits, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager to discuss getting them or learn more about credit management in this article. 

 

How to Get Started


Generating AI Subtitles for your shows is quick and intuitive. Follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Shows: In the Live product on your BamHub, go to the Shows section in the left-hand menu.
  2. Access Show Settings:
    1. To create new content, click on NEW SHOW.
    2. To add subtitles to existing content, click on an ended show from your list.
  3. Open Subtitle Management: In the show settings, locate and click the button "Manage Subtitles/CC".
  4. Generate Subtitles:
    1. Choose the language(s) you want the subtitles to be in from the available options.
    2. Click the "Generate using AI" button.
    3. You can select and create multiple subtitles in different languages at the same time.

Once generated, your subtitles will be available for review and can be enabled for your viewers, instantly making your content more inclusive and impactful.
