UTM Tracking: Measuring the Impact of Your Bambuser Content

This feature is available for the Social Commerce solution (Live and Shoppable Video) and will soon be available for the Digital Clienteling solution (Video Consultation and Chat).

UTM Tracking automatically adds UTM parameters to product links when shoppers click on a product in the player. This allows you to track traffic from your Live Shopping shows and Shoppable Videos in Google Analytics or other analytics tools. By understanding where your traffic originates, you can better measure the impact of your shows and videos and optimize their performance.

Good to know


If you already have UTM tags on your PDP URLs, they won’t be overridden.
If you use product hydration, this feature won’t apply, since shoppers aren’t directed to PDPs.

Changing the settings

While UTM Tracking is enabled by default, you can manage the feature in your Bam Hub Settings.

  1. How to Manage UTM Tracking in the Bam Hub:
  2. Go to Settings in the left-hand menu.
  3. Select General Settings.
  4. Toggle on/off Enable UTM Tracking.
  5. Click SAVE.
     

UTM Tags Added by Bambuser

Bambuser automatically adds the following UTM tags when traffic is generated from a show or video:
